LOCAL DISASTER CLEANUP FIRM INSTRUMENTAL IN HOSPITAL RE-OPENING
Royal Plus Disaster Kleenup Team Ahead of Schedule

As of 3:40pm , today,  June 25, 2008 Mercy Medical Center of Cedar Rapids, Iowa re-opened the Cardiac Stroke Center, Intensive Care Center, Pulmonary Medicine Center, the Birthplace and inpatient renal dialysis services.  The hospital’s medical/surgical departments are available and will open as patient demand requires.

Royal Plus Disaster Kleenup continues its efforts to assist the hospital in becoming fully operational in the wake of damaging flood waters earlier this month.  “The initial goal was to have these portions of the facility open in two weeks and I’m happy to say that we’ve achieved that goal and done so ahead of schedule” said Royal Plus Director of Business Development, Jim Mathias.   Mercy Medical Center is the town of Cedar Rapids’ main medical facility and its restoration is the primary focus of Royal Plus Inc.  At this time the company has rotating shifts of 250 technicians working around the clock to restore the hospital to operating capacity.

Royal Plus Disaster Kleenup specializes in the restoration of homes and businesses that have been damaged by unforeseen circumstances.  A network member of Disaster Kleenup International, Royal Plus has been helping families and businesses for 22 years and is recognized throughout the Gulf Coast, Mid Atlantic and Southeastern United States as a leader in the property restoration industry.
